I just love the spirit of the 80s! People were individualistic and free spirited, and had their own style in dressing. You don’t see such spontaneity and passion now. I share your sentiments, Ed that these traits have now been taken over by the corporation.
Hey Ed, the spirit of the young guy with the broom reminds me of you. Two decades ago, when Jeeva told me that we were meeting his best friend at the bus-stop in front of the Phoenix Hotel, he just told me to look out for someone holding a cassette player (though I did not expect to hear your arrival before seeing you). You were holding a big cassette player on one shoulder, playing Michael Jackson’s Beat It walking towards to us. Your vibrancy and passion about everything around you left quite a deep impression on me, especially when I first saw you danced. You were really impressive, almost as good as those guys dancing in this video clip. Though you are still exhibiting your vibrancy and passion in other arenas now, I do hope one day I will still be able to see you breakdance again. :) Don’t lose your spirit to the world!
